Digging Deeper | September 5, 2021

by Foothills Church on September 05, 2021

Pastors Mark and Dave shared with us stories of God’s faithfulness in their lives and in the history of our church. In this lesson we will dig deeper and see that we can always be faithful to God because He is, first, faithful to us. We’ll clear up misconceptions about “trusting God” then we will dig deeper into the issue of trusting God with all the details of your life; why it’s the only rational way to live, and how a proper understanding of God’s faithfulness gives you great confidence to live boldly. We will see that we can always be faithful to God because He is, first, faithful to us.

Read Deuteronomy 7:9, then come to home group prepared to answer these questions:

  • What is the main adjective used to describe God?
  • For how long can God be counted on to be faithful?
  • Does “God is faithful” mean He can always be counted on to do what you think He should?
  • Does God faithfully keep covenant and loving kindness with everybody in the world?
